I’m a part of this group at my school called the Renaissance Action Team, and basically we recognize the good at our school, even if it comes from the kids who you wouldn’t expect. I’m really proud to be part of it. Tonight, we had our annual banquet to say goodbye to the seniors and a few things happened.
We sang our anthem, which is the song “Wonderful” by Gary Go. I really recommend you give it a listen, it’s really good. Anyway, the chorus of the song says “Say I am wonderful.” After we belted it out, our adviser said something like, “It’s okay to say ‘I am wonderful.’ It’s okay to be emotional.”
And you know what?
Heck yeah it is.

You know that moment when you’re reading a book and you just have to stop and bite your lip and squeal or sigh or close your eyes and wrinkle your nose and forehead and press the book against your heart and just like sit there and try to soak up the gorgeous literature via osmosis?
That’s my favorite part of reading.
